Cooperative purchasing contract available for all State Agencies and State of Texas Co-Op Members through National IPA

The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA), working in cooperation with the Council on Competitive Government (CCG) has reached an agreement with National IPA to make the City of Fort Worth, TX contract with Truman Arnold Companies (TACenergy) for the purchase of Bulk Motor Fuels available to State of Texas Agencies, Higher Education and Co-Op Members.  This cooperative agreement offers convenience and savings on bulk fuel purchases by taking advantage of centralized purchasing and eliminating the need for numerous independent fuel contract bids.

Under the cooperative agreement, National IPA administers the City of Fort Worth’s agreement, making it available to other public agencies on a national basis.  All transactions, including ordering, delivery and invoicing are handled by the contractor, TACenergy.

Beginning August 1, 2010, this cooperative contract is available for use by state agencies and State of Texas Co-Op Members for the procurement of Bulk Motor Fuels.  Starting September 1, 2010, the contract will be REQUIRED USE for all state agencies purchasing Bulk Motor Fuels.
