The Supplier Awards Program seeks to recognize those elite supplier partners that help us succeed in accomplishing our vision to deliver excellent value and superior service through a best-in-class procurement process to our participants.

The Public Sector Supplier of the Year is the premier supplier recognition by National IPA. Office Depot is a critical strategic partner that has demonstrated bold vision, thought leadership and executive commitment to engaging National IPA and their participating agencies to provide excellence in all aspects of their cooperative program. This supplier is recognized as a market leader with an excellent business reputation and outstanding service levels. Their cooperative contract serves as a model throughout the public sector and is currently being utilized by more than 23,000 participating agencies. They have achieved exceptional sales results, while ensuring program participants receive outstanding value. They demonstrate a continual commitment to proactive engagement and are forward thinking in their approach to marketing and selling their cooperative program with National IPA.

Horizon Awards

Named after Horizon Resource Group, the original company founded by Todd Abner and Ward Brown, this award recognizes awarded suppliers that demonstrate breakthrough sales results, a spirit of entrepreneurship, outstanding commitment to sales and marketing engagement and excellence in serving program participants.

NETWORK's commitment to training is the foundational model that National IPA established as a best practice to equip supplier sales teams to grow public sector business. This model has led to wide spread utilization of their lead agency contract as their go-to-market sales vehicle. They have worked to extend their National IPA relationships to their strategic manufacturer partners who have in turn become an important part of National IPA's supplier community. They continue to extend their reach into the public sector currently servicing more than 4,000-member agencies on a monthly basis.

The HON Company is an organization, that from the onset of their relationship, demonstrated executive level commitment to establish a preferential relationship based on mutual trust and transparent exchange of information. They have leveraged the power of National IPA to serve the public sector and have recently extended their partnering efforts to OMNIA Partners with a private sector offering. Their partnering efforts have delivered outstanding value to our participating agencies and have led to break through sales results that quickly established their place among the elite supplier partners in our program.

From the time their contract was established, they established a commitment to leverage National IPA as a part of their sales culture and supported this commitment with strong executive level sponsorship and robust engagement with National IPA’s account management team. By focusing on a defined set of targets and establishing joint selling strategies they were able to capture large multiyear engagements that will lead to sustained program growth for many years to come.
